I've been dreaming about visiting the beach lately. Salty hair, sandy beach bums, teeny tiny bikinis. Ahhh…. isn't that the perfect summer getaway? But
a. I have no money to travel
b. My bikini body is not ready
c. I don't have any nice bikini
You see, I'm a problem solver. When my dreams get crushed by reality, I try to un-crush it. A friend of mine says this a lot, and now I’m starting to live by it too: if you want something, make it happen. So right now, while I’m working my ass off to get a job and work on my blog and video content to make money (please refer to point a above), I am also practicing yoga and controlling my diet to get my bikini body ready (refer: point b). Okay, point a and b are in progress, which means… it's time for me to look for a nice bikini right?
I found this blogshop called Zaful a while ago and they have many cute clothes, especially swimwear, at really affordable prices. You only need to spend $30 USD to get free delivery worldwide, which I thought is pretty reasonable too.
Here are some of my favourite bikini designs for this summer:
Shop the Tropical Print Plunge Bikini. On SALE: $16.49
Palm prints has been all the rage since last summer, and it doesn't seem to be going away yet!
Shop the Low Waisted Cami Padded Bikini Set.
Red is the colour for swimwear this year. This plain basic would be the perfect all-year round swimwear for both the beach and the hot tub in winter!
Shop the Front Tied Textured Thong Bikini Set. ONLY: $11.99
Ditch the cover up, pair this front tie bikini top with a pair of denim shorts and you have the cutest outfit already.
Shop the Bralette Crochet Top And Floral Tied Bikini Bottoms. ONLY: $11.99
I'm so in love with crochet bikinis, but I honestly have no idea how it works… Like, does it not get heavy when it's drenched?
Shop the V String Bralette Bikini Set. On SALE: $13.49
I don't know how naked you'll look in a nude bikini, but I couldn’t get my eyes off these classy looking bikinis. What with those string around the waist and top!
A quick glance at the shop's bio tells me that Zaful is an online fast fashion store based in Hong Kong. I placed my order for a few pieces last week and I received one of the packages today already. For the price that I paid, I would say that the quality of the bikini is good enough. The product is exactly like what it claims on the website, and the sizing matches the chart. I have no idea when I’ll be visiting the beach yet, but I can't wait to wear my bikinis already!
